Himemiya.ORG originally debuted on the net on January 11, 2023 as Anthy.NET. Due to troubles with funds, I had to let the domain name expire in early 2025, but very luckily, a year earlier I had registered himemiya.org upon February 29 -- Himemiya Anthy's birthday (and leap day, which charmed me to no end). It was kind of a birthday present "to" her, honestly -- there was a small fan soundtrack/EP on the coming soon page, and I had misty plans for it to become a moderately-sized, thoughtful, and somewhat dreamy shrine to the Rose Bride herself, as a child domain of Anthy.NET. But because I still desperately wanted a single place for all my Revolutionary thoughts, I transferred everything that was on Anthy.NET, popped the little FST over at Anthy's fanlisting as a subsection, and here we are today, at home on Himemiya.ORG!

The content as of the moment is primarily fanlistings -- I know, I know, I do. In my defense, I do eventually want to turn them into shrines to their subjects, full of my own Thoughts and Opinions and ALL THE FEELS, because...it's Utena, you don't watch this series, you experience it. And seeing as I was introduced to the series as a closeted queer, mentally ill, abuse surviving teenager...oh yeah, I had (and have) Feelings. All of the damn things. Said potential shrines probably won't be overly media-heavy, as the fandom has the immaculate Empty Movement to cover that side of things for us, but I hope they'll have revisiting value all the same.

(Speaking of, how long have I been a SKU fan? Long enough to remember when EM was hosted on unmei.nu. Long enough to remember a time before EM. I feel old, argh.)
